Andre Rau, born in Germany, moved to Paris to begin his formal training in photography assisting Peter Lindberg.

With a remarkable career path, today Andre Rau is internationally acknowledged for powerful celebrity portraits: Catherine Deneuve, Penelope Cruz, Laetitia Casta, Kate Moss, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Lenny Kravitz ... He was the official Cannes Film Festival photographer for several years.

Andre Rau is among the most established photographers of our time with memorable covers for such publications as Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, GQ, Vanity Fair or Cosmopolitan, and advertising campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Celine, Cartier, L’Oréal or Lancôme.
